UG Admissions Update for TG EAPCET 2024 - Candidates must qualify for the TG-EAPCET examination conducted by the Government of Telangana to gain admission into GNITS for undergraduate programs. After qualifying, candidates should attend the counseling session conducted by the Convener for engineering college admissions. Based on the rank obtained in TG-EAPCET, candidates can choose GNITS depending on the availability of seats in the desired branch.
Postgraduate Admission Fees - Upon selection for admission, Candidates shall be required to pay the fee for both Category – A and Category – B.

GNITS accepts the score of the TS EAMCET exam for admission to its BTech courses. TS EAMCET 2024 exam has ended and the result is expected to be out in the last week of May 2024. TS EAPCET 2024 counselling for admission to GNITS will start in the first week of July 2024 (tentative).

For admission in B.Tech programme, TS EAMCET is considered and for lateral entry admission in B.Tech admission, TS ECET is considered. Similarly, for admission in M.Tech course, GATE and PGECET scores are accepted.
GNITS has a dedicated placement cell that works towards providing placement opportunities for students. The placement cell conducts training programmes, workshops, and placement drives to enhance the employability skills of students. GNITS admission to BTech is expected to start in the first week of July 2024 when TS EAMCET counselling starts. The counselling is based on the TS EAPCET 2024 score for which the exams have ended and the result is expected to be out in the last week of May 2024. GNITS Hyderabad admissions are done both on the basis of entrance exams and on the basis of merit for all the undergraduate, lateral entry and postgraduate levels. For GNITS Hyderabad admission in the B.Tech course for category ‘A’ seats, TS EAMCET is accepted. Similarly, for lateral entry admission in the B.Tech course, admission will be made on the basis of TS ECET. 10% of the total seat intake will be reserved for the diploma holders. For admission at GNITS Hyderabad in the M.Tech course, admissions are made on the basis of GATE or PGECET scores for category ‘A’ seats. For the category ‘B’ seats, admissions in both B.Tech and M.Tech courses at GNITS are done by the GNITS management following the guidelines of the Government of Telangana (TSCHE).

GNITS Admission Process 2024
- First and foremost, candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria set for the courses.
- Candidates who are taking admission in GNITS Hyderabad, under the category ‘A’ seats need to appear, apply, and qualify the entrance exams set for the course. For the admission in management quota seats, candidates can start the GNITS Hyderabad admission process by directly registering and filling up the application form.
- Candidates need to visit the GNITS official website and register themselves, after which they will be directed to the application page.
- GNITS Hyderabad Application Process: Candidates need to fill up the application form with all the necessary details and submit the documents, as asked. Then, candidates need to pay the GNITS application fee and submit the application. Candidates must keep a copy of their application form for future reference
- After the exam result is released, GNITS will release the cutoff list, based on which a merit list will be prepared.
- Shortlisted candidates then need to attend the counselling for GNITS admission conducted by the Convener, where they will be allotted seats.

GNITS Cutoff 2025 - Expected
GNITS cutoff for admission is released by TSCHE on the basis of the TS EAMCET exam scores. After the result is declared, TS EAMCET counselling will be conducted at GNITS cutoff 2024 will be announced. The cutoffs are released in the form of opening and closing ranks. GNITS cut off will include the minimum rank which candidates need to obtain in order to be eligible for admission. Dear Student,
Unfortunately, you cannot take the TS EAMCET entrance exam from Andhra Pradesh state on the exam day (April 29 to 30 for Agriculture steam; May 2 to 5 for Engineering stream). This is because there are no test centres located in AP. As per the official list released by JNTUH, all the TS EAMCET 2025 exam centres are located in Telangana and Hyderabad. Until last year, TS EACMET exam was held in cities, like Guntur, Kurnool, Vijayawada, Visakahpatnam, Tirupati and Nandyal across Andhra Pradesh, but this year onwards, the authority has removed these centres from the list. However, if you want are a resident of Andhra Pradesha and want to take admission in engineering colleges within the state, the best alternative would be AP EAMCET exam, registration for which is underway till April 24, 2025.

As per the eligibility criteria set by the JNTUH authority, to be eligible as a local candidate for the TS EAMCET, all students are required to have completed their 10+2 level education from the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana. Therefore, since your son has not done his Intermediate/ 10+2 from a school affiliated with the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana, he does not meet the TS EAMCET 2025 eligibility criteria and cannot sit for the entrance exam. However, you can explore other similar exams for which your son will be eligible such as the AP EAMCET 2025 exam for admission to engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Unfortunately the decision to remove TS EAMCET 2025 exam centres from Andhra Pradesh falls under the jurisprudence of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). As per the statement released by a senior official, the decision has been made after Telangana State Government sought legal advice and dropped the 15% non local seats in Andhra Pradesh. Therefore, AP students are no longer eligible for 'non local' quota seats in colleges across Telangana.

As per the official test zones released by JNTU Hyderabad, there are no TS EAMCET 2025 exam centres in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The examination will be conducted in 54 cities across Telangana. Therefore, you will have to travel to Telangana in order to take the TS EAMCET entrance exam. However, if you are from Andhra Pradesh and want B.Tech admission in your state, then you may apply for the AP EAMCET exam instead. As per the latest information brochure released by the authorities, only Telangana residents are eligible for TS EAPCET. Andhra Pradesh students cannot apply for the TS EAPCET 2025 exam. If you are from Telangana then only fill out the TS EAPCET application form before April 4, 2025. Otherwise, apply for AP EAMCET, the registration for which will begin soon in March.

To do a BSc in agriculture, candidates of the BC-D or OBC category should score between 680 and 2,500 approximately based on the ICAR AIEEA cutoff rank trends from previous years. While numerous institutes base admissions on Class 12 results, multiple universities administer entrance exams for BSc Agriculture, including AGRICET, CUET, MHT CET, CG PAT, ICAR AIEEA, and others. The admission cutoff rank range for these exams varies from one year to another. The basic qualifications for a prospective student's acceptance to the BSc Agriculture program, however, are that they must have completed their 12th grade in the Science major with either Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (PCMB) or PCB disciplines with at least of 55% aggregate marks from an accredited educational board.
